Yakim, this is perhaps better titled - lack of interaction. The young lady is talking on her cell phone while her SO looks dejected.

Its an interaction, but I don't think a loving interaction. Nice shot for this wa though.

You're right. I added a question mark to the title and changed the phrasing. I think it better suits the pic thus.

BTW, what does SO stand for?

Good catch. An interesting couple. I didn't notice the cell phone right away because the couple seems to show a comfortable intimacy with each other.

Your question is intriguing. (Is she calling the babysitter, so they can stay out later?)

As for the photo I wish it was a little closer up so we could see their expressions better, especially that super cute guy. I am a fan the closer the better, in most instances. I also wish the couple was framed more in the 'sweet spot', as in more to the right in the frame. Otherwise all in all I like it.

Both look very young to me so I seriously doubt if she is calling the babysitter. Talking to a friend is much more likely IMHO.

About getting closer, I agree with you but I didn't want to be noticed. Whenever I do that I always miss "the decisive moment". I need to take lessons from Robert Capa. This pic is a crop from the original pic. In the original they were dead center. I cropped unevenly to make what I believe is a slightly more interesting composition.
