these ingredient will make my favorite: Bolognese. Served over spaghetti, with crusty bread and a nice glass of Cabernet. I’ll try to save you some

I hope this, at the very least, brings a smile to your face!

The background is too disturbing IMHO but I'm amazed at the fact that they share the exact same dress.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

A bit of selective focus would go a long way in separating the girl from the background. It would look great to have the girl and doll in focus with the background slightly blurred. It would also be nice if we could see the little girls expression.

Gentle image, Greg. I love the juxtaposition of the young girl and delicate pastels of her dress against the rugged, earthy landscape. However, I was really digging your first submission. What happened?

Thanks John. I reported the first. There was something about the second shot that I really liked, but the background was a little too over powering. I left the house yesterday without any filters, so dealing with the harsh lighting was impossible without stopping it up quite a bit. I think it would have been better if the background would have been blurred....

Thanks Caley. I agree about the background, so I reposted with the first shot I posted. Thanks for your comments.

Better than the former but I'd still prefer shallower DoF.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

So, I’m not happy with any of my submissions so far. I’ve been so busy this week working on getting our floors ready for refinishing, that I’ve not spend the requisite time necessary to develop and take a decent photo. I challenged myself to participate every week, no matter what, so with that, I am going to submit one that not only depicts interaction, but will hopefully make you hungry.

Just for the fun of it

-Greg

Shame on you, making me hungry! I love Bolognese as well.

BTW, may I suggest that you post the former pics as well? It will keep at least some of the posts in context.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.
