HIM; Would you like a sip of my beer? It's less filling...
HER; Of course I'd like some. Not because it's less filling, but because it taste's GREAT!!

And what was her response? My only gripe is the green flare on her, umm...

I don't think they are talking about beer. I like the expression on her face....a good response.

Maybe that is his 'green with envy' stare

Good timing and eye for a response. If this were my image I'd do a tight, right-rotated crop on the couple; it would get rid of those white lights, that arm lower left, and that stuff at the edge of the picture on her arm and that orange baby cup. Then I'd probably fix that green on her and the blue on his pants. The crop would take off a tiny bit of the top of his head, would include his right hand and cuff with a touch of sleeve, and we'd see her beautiful response with a little of her right arm; that's all that's necessary for this shot anyway. The couple, close up is the whole story.

Hi Bev. Thanx for the nice comment. I'm not a PP guru. Care to have a go at it? I'd gladly email the photo to you. the only thing I ask is that you explain to me what you do to the photo.

Here's what I'm talking about. Can you do this? I didn't edit the colors on her or him.

That I think I can handle. It's getting rid of the green color on the woman.

THAT I'm going to have to try. Not really being good with PPing I would normally just try to clone it out. I'd get extremely frustrated because it would come out looking like garbage and VERY evident of what I was trying to do. Your fix looks GREAT!!!

For the color, I'd probably create a new layer (blank) and set it to "color mode" and then use the eyedropper tool to pick a color of the skin tone for her, then paint over that green with the skin color (using a soft brush at low opacity) to just get the green to turn skin color; it might take some trial and error with color to get a believable match, and you might have to lower the opacity of the color layer till it blends nicely. Ditto for his pants, easier fix. Can you do that? I just

Cloning is much harder when you have shadows on an object--takes much more skill and time! This is so EZ and fast! I bet you can do it! Thanks.

Well done to both of you but whose picture is this now - or is it going to be a double entry?

I'm going to leave the original that I posted as my entry. I should have done any editing BEFORE posting, so it's going to stand as is.

I don't know of anything in the rules to prevent you from changing or editing the picture after entry. So if you want to alter it according to Bev's advice and suggestions, just go for it.

People routinely edit their entries based on feedback, or they'll see something they want to change themselves, or they re-shoot! Some even change their entries to a different image before the deadline. Nothing wrong with incorporating anyone's suggestions (or not), that's simply a matter of personal taste.

Bev, your last version is just perfect. I wish I knew PP that well.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.
