Very cute girl. I do wish the lighting was softer; the light areas on her cheek and nose are distracting, and some areas of the shot are too bright (her hand, dessert, counter). Diffused light would be better for a shot like this. Love her expression.
I agree about the expression and lighting. The former adds a lot and the latter subtracts a bit. Also, a touch more breathing space - especially on the left and bottom - would be welcomed.
