I always see these just after washing my car. It is a love hate relationship, living in the desert we need the rain. I like how blue the sky is compared to the cloud.

Dajavu, thanks for the comment. I liked how a happy, puffy cottonball cloud turned ominous in this image.

Kevin, living adjacent to wilderness in a frequently-wind-swept, semi-arid Southern California, I gave up on regular car washings! Thanks again for the PM's, BTW.

It's an HDR image from three bracketed shots. I couldn't pass up the chaotic patterns in it's swirls and I'm always mesmerized by how they evolve and change, especially in time-lapse video. I was very happy to have captured some essence of "speed" in a still photo of something so slow.
