Haven't entered in awhile. I've been too busy. Anyway, here is a photo from the Mausoleum at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. This is the cemetery where most of the famous Hollywood movie stars are buried - people like W.C Fields, Rudolph Valentino, Cecil B. De Mille, Marilyn Monroe, Tyrone Power, etc. I even saw the marker for Don Adams - Agent 86 from "Get Smart", today. The windows are real Tiffany. It is a lovely place. I hope you like it. http://www.hollywoodforever.com/Hollywood/

Thanks, Bev! It's quite an amazing place. Of course, to look at their website, one might think it is a little Kitschy but then again, this is Hollywood! I'm glad you like the photo!

Fond regards,

Endre

Hello Endre,
A really nice shot, it's beautiful, for a creepy place. The lighting is super. I'd love to see what a close up of the far window looks like. I realize the small size posted prevents that, and w/ a closeup you'd lose the surroundings. Maybe someday we'll be able to post links to high resolution images. Well done!

This is beautiful, Endre. I like this much better than the BW version. I agree with Beverly about the skylight too.

Thank you, Klaus, my dear friend! I'm so glad you like it! I've decided to definitely leave this my entry rather than the B & W version. Personally, In find it much more interesting.

Fond regards,

Endre

Thanks Endre, I'll probably never get a chance to visit this place, so I appreciate the close up of the Tiffany window, it is beautiful. The window alone can't compare to the shot you took showing the marble walls and skylight.

Thanks, again, Nick, my friend! It is a beautiful window but seeing it in context is what makes it all the more powerful.

Fond regards,

Endre

Beautiful place. It has some cleanness in it, matching the current holiday. Pity about that small trash bin but you got lucky that no one was there during the shot. Come to think of it, with slow SS you could have made ghosts, which would be appropriate to this place.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

Thanks, Yakim! Glad you like it. Trash bin? What trash bin? They don't put trash bins in such places. Do you mean the pot of white chrysanthemums on the floor?

Good idea to have made a ghost. It never occurred to me.

Warm regards,

Endre

Yes. It did look odd to me but I could not identify it as a pot of flowers. I'm a silly goose.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.
