Nice textures, color and comp!

For the B&W, I would take the reds down a bit in the conversion until it seems a little too dark. then brighten it. I think you'll find it to be a bit crisper. Having said that.....I like the color version much better.

Hi Chris, I did your suggestion...still not liking it...for this particular image..color is the only one that works. I do however appreciate the input.

As well as neglect, deserted and eroded. I'd crop a bit from the sides. It may give a better composition.
