The MD 70-210 F4 clears 5D mirror fine. It's a nice lens.
My OM mount vivitar 35/1.9 works fine on a 5D so the MD mount vivitar 35/19 after converted to EOS should clears the 5D mirror as well. Good luck!

Agree on these. the vivitars were made with lots of distance between rear elements and mirrors, since they had to adapt them to various mounts. Usually should be plenty of clearance on lenses like that.
