Wow, pin trading was going on back then. And I thought it didn't get popular until the latter part of the 80's. It was really popular at the Calgary games in '88.

That’s an amazing collection of pins from one of the most notorious athletic events in history. I was eight years old and can still remember being glued to the TV watching the coverage. It was my first experience with the worst side of humanity. Thanks for posting - we should never forget.

Greg...Yes, the '72 Olympics were both an exciting sports competition and an exceptionally tragic event. It's hard to believe it's been 38 years since those events unfolded. Here's a link to Wikipedia for those who may want some additional information:
