Hello Yakim,
What a great take on the WA! Not knowing much about gambling or cards, I had to Google this and found out it was reported to be the hand held by Wild Bill Hickok at the time of his murder. How fascinating. Your old cards look like they could have been owned by Bill himself and the blood is a nice touch too. Nice work.

Definitely an obscure, but relevant, play on the assignment. And the fact that you seem to have poured yourself into it makes it that much more interesting. Nice shot!

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. I admit that at first I was lost. I didn't know what to shoot. Then I looked at my kid who is constantly playing poker on the web (no real money involved of course) and went on from there.

Thank you. That is indeed one of the hardest things I am experiencing in photography. I'm usually "just" try to make a pretty shot.
