I thought about making the black go away (crop or PS), but I left it to counter-balance (hopefully) the gray at the top and give a little foreground perspective.
X2 on the black at the bottom. I think either way would help IMHO, include more at the bottom of the frame to add some more of that black area, or remove it completly. Nice shot.
Very Cool indeed. The use of rather benign yet iconic symbols such as the stethoscope and crucible are a nice touch. Is there a blue gel used in the setup?
