Beautiful shots from Vietnam Ht77, I loved the mood on them. Yesterday I became sad because Brazil lost on World Cup to the Netherlands, but, on the other side, the Yashica 21mm 3.5 ML in mint condition that I bought on Ebay for just US$ 115,00 arrived!!! I can't believe I did paid so little for this beautiful piece of glass. I had not much time to test it yet, but today I took some photos to try it on my 5D II...
It was a great deal... Great lenses, good sharpness, but more on the "cool side" (blueish) rendition... Nothing that a few minutes in Photoshop don't resolves
Great series from ht: using the 24 ML on cropped sensor is clever. As for our friend from Brazil, nice testing and, yes, I'm green with envy. Yashica lives!
Yes the price was so good that I even suspected the quality of the lens, but later discovered that this is a lens not very common, it is rare. Regarding the pictures, I'll do testing, I promise to post here soon.

I'm short of time to test my new Yashica 21mm deeper, but I ventured a few clicks this morning. One problem I faced is that it is not making the infinite focus, and I am using the same adapter for Carl Zeiss CY lenses I own. Can anyone tell me if you can adjust the focus in this lens to reach the infinite? I will be immensely thankful for the response.
Anyway, here are two images made with objects placed near the camera. Only some slight correction of tones and UM in Photoshop.
Today the day was beautiful and I saw a Harley Davidson parked on the way home ... I could not resist and went to the pictures, test a little my new Yashica 21mm. Finally scored the Yashica 300/5.6 ML C. At $130, the price was right, too. No ED glass for this tele, so some lateral color is present, and some axial color at widest aperture. Build quality is great, as usual, and the modest maximum aperture means less weight to haul around. Chicago by night was shot from 12mi away with 1Ds, ISO 50, f/8, 30sec, four images stacked:
