Here is a shot of an 2010 Olympic coin minted by a Canadian retailer. This one depicts the game of hockey and is one of three in the set. Wish I could actually be there to see all the great athletes compete for their respective Countries.

+1, the colour just adds that extra "something"

Thank you Bill, Yakim and Andy. I appreciate the comments. The colour picked up by the glass crystal wine-bottle stopper is from two different coloured neon bristol-board sheets on either side each illuminated with a black-light fluorescent strip. Lots of fun.

Like others, I find the colours work well. IMHO though, the coin seems slightly off level, and needs to be turned a little counter-clockwise (or else turned to a more dramatic angle). Nicely done, though.

P.S. I didn't realize that CTC was issuing coins for the 2010 Olympics. I guess they're not the same as CTC money...?
