WOW, as a Cuban immigrant & now American Citizen, these images are extremely touching. I was too young to remember anything of my birthplace but the stories told by my parents, family, & friends have painted a detailed image for me. These (new) images of yours contrast with my 'painted' images and illustrates the continued deterioration & decay that has been occuring for the last half century.
Image number 10 is particularly striking to me because not only does it clearly depicts the poor state of conditions for most of the Cuban population, but ironically, I work in supermarket refrigerated cases & equipment...so that one in particular is rather poignant for me.
