Yakim, yes but you were not watching them. They seemed to be having a good time, unlike my dog that is, who stuck his nose out the door and turned around... 
In regards to color, this was taken in the soft light of a blizzard. Not sure what everyone was expecting. It was actually a very good rendition of the actual scene on my calibrated monitor. I tried some other renditions since this time and it is quite possible that the light was too flat to do much with. I later modified it but there was not much I could do with it. The bird has little color as well as the background. I guess I need to work on my capture, possibly using a better beemer to obtain a little fill/catch light.
