Peanut Butter.....I'm not really sure how the contrast turned out or if the image is to bright because of the monitors I was using.

Yeah, just honestly not that appealing to look at. The rim is distracting up front, lighting to direct and over exposed, the crop is...

? Maybe reshoot and use toast and spread the pb for a contrast in the toast versus the smooth texture of the pb? Something other than this one. Sorry if I killed your shot

Good potential gone missed IMHO. Take a re-shot. Get closer, diffuse the flash, make a more interesting paste and you've got it.
