Hello all,

Some took to this week's challange with ease, yet some (like myself) had a tough time with it. I almost didn't enter this week, then breakfast provided me an idea.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did (yummy, ). This is a pretty large field, good luck to all of the entries.

Best Regards,
Kurt

Great way to photograph this subject; the reflections make it as classy as it is tasty looking!

Nice use of the lines to help draw your eye into it.

I'd like to see it with a big bite out of it ... but I'm guessing all the bites have been used up already

Thank you very much for the comments Kent. I almost did shoot it with a bite missing, but I felt it would take something away from the image...

Best Regards,
Kurt

+1 The framing lines really finish it nicely. Looks tasty!

Interesting shot, Kurt! I just had breakfast so I'm not hungry but it surely looks appetizing! My only nit might be the very front is slightly out of focus. I would have liked it a tad batter with the DOF a tad wider. Still, it's a fine shot - well captured!

All the best,

Endre

The reflection and the boundering lines (sp.?) add up to a beautiful pic.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

Thank you very much Endre for your comments, I appreciate your insights very much. I did wrestle with the DOF, and where to place the focal point.

At the current time, I am logistically limited with DOF adjustability due to insufficient lens selection. It's either a wide focal plane with a slow lens, or a short focal plane using the shortest extention tube (without contacts), not much middle ground to play with.

Thanks again for your input!

Best Regards,
Kurt

Hello Yakim,
