I took a little more of an editorial/public service announcement direction with this assignment...

Lit with a manually fired flash into small white reflector from camera upper-left during 1/2 sec. exposure. Can't re-shoot if there's anything drastically wrong here, subjects are in my belly!

I agree. I think the texture and color of the pickles gives the image a sturdy footing.
