Just got some beers and started to think ...does Canon has enough money to buy a Nikon?

I like both Canon for primes and Nikon for body.....Nikon body with Canon mount would be nice.

Besides - it wouldn't allow for photographers to blog about jumping ship because......

Mitsubishi is probably happy with keeping Nikon in it's portfolio of subsidiaries.

Canon does plan on buying Nikon..Canon will be the professional line and Nikon will be the consumer line...
