I had a similar idea. I was thinking of showing a gin and tonic with a piece of lime. I would have loved to show the lime being squeased and the juice airborne (getting a bit ahead of myself photographically).

Thanks for the helpful tips. Yeah, looking at it now I should have stopped it down a bit (had it at 2.8) instead of going for speed. Well, another chance next week!
Yeah, needs a boost to the color and some straightening. This type of photography, glass and liquid stop motion is very difficult to pull off. But, it works.
