Purple tang (Zebrasoma xanthurum, actually more blue than purple)



Pardon me for shooting a similar subject as last week's assignment, not exactly a creative thing to do, but I thought this is more suited to this week's theme than the last.

I kind of like this as there are different 5 patterns in the frame, only if the photo with the most pattern wins.

- The mottled pattern on the lower left
- The stripped pattern on the upper right
- The scale pattern on the upper right
- The concentric pattern of the eye
- The radial pattern of the fin

Again, it's one of my favorite fish.

I like this as it's obviously a fish, but the aggressive framing almost makes it abstract, and wonderful colours and, yes, patterns, to suit the theme. Good luck!
