I'll see if I can dig up some of my wedding pictures. They aren't remarkable but may give you some ideas. My husband and I were married ON a King Air (we are both pilots). We had our reception in a large hangar complete with WWII-era swing/big band orchestra. While the guests were arriving, we landed at another airport (our downtown airport, with the city skyline in the background) and did photos with the plane, then went back to the airport that was hosting our reception. It worked out fantastically well and was so cool. I just wish I'd done more with the photos.
I'll post 'em up tomorrow if I can. I think they are at my office. I'm shooting a wedding next June that has the reception at an aircraft museum at the same airport as the photos I mentioned above - skyline and all. I'm very excited for that one.
Otherwise it was great. Ended up taking some illegal photos of the cockpit of a plane too. Good times.
If this is true TRR; I would not post that fact in a public forum. I live in a pilot 'ghetto'. I have friends who are pilots and some are still w/ a Air Guard unit. One friend trains squadrons of pilots before their deployment to various locales in the Middle East. This 'illegal photos' comment would not be received lightly by him or others I know.
If you are just joking ; why? The images should, IMHO, should not be shared, sent, emailed or posted.
Ziffl3 - thanks for some of the insights. Aw, well I guess it will still be fun for someone like me who has never been to a military air base I will try my best to make the shots come out nice, and will keep you guys updated!
Haha and I guess now I have to come up with some poses that work with big planes. But my planned poses always fail when reality hits, and always end up coming up with something that fits in more.
definitely take the most wide angle lens you can find and use that to power up the pics.
planes makes awesome backgrounds. do not be afraid of some cheeky stuffs it is fun.

This is filed under the 'not cool' catagory. You will also screw it up for everyone else had they found out and been criminally charged. If your allowed on the flight line follow the damn rules, it is not a time to be screwing around.

Gotcha. The widest I have is my 35L, hope that would work.
Sorry I forgot to do these yesterday...hope they help. The reason we were able to walk on the wings was because it is an air museum. If you contact your local regional airport, they may have some old planes you could use as a backdrop.
Funny you should ask. Chris plus Lynn just dropped some shots at an abandoned field. They're sick (although I might be biased as it was my friends wedding) http://chrispluslynn.blogspot.com/
