Excellent series. Photographing these animals can be frustrating due to their crepuscular and erratic behavior, but is very rewarding. Especially when you get 'the shot'. I hope you get to see another one soon!

No, you are Rustoleum, which means you're not quite as rusty as you once were as you have a new coat of paint. Mondo-Guapo is reserved for the young and handsome folk such as myself. Got it?

You owe Thang dinner! What an incredible experience. I think you photographed it very well Ken. You got some great shots of the action and ensuing struggle. Congrats.

Thanks. I've already told Thang that I'm into debt, big time! Some dim-sum might be in order.

Been a long time since I saw you on FM. How have you been? I imagine the move has been good for you and your raptors (maybe everything but the cold?).

I hope to have another encounter soon, too. But it just isn't as consistent as the situation that you have there.

SJWS Where is this wildlife sanctuary?? It would be a dream & such a change from Alaska which I like on occasion. Thanks & take care. Bob
Bob -
SJWS is San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary located in sunny Southern California. It's right next to the University of California Irvine in a suburban type setting. Just a bit warmer the year -round than your Alaska.
We've had other FM visitors from the northwest. Come on down some time.

This is really an amazing set. I'd be happy just to see a Bobcat. Really well done and no worries on the equipment - this is fine work.

Chris -
Thanks. Before my first sighting of the local Bobcat, we went a long time just hearing about it but never seeing it. The last three and a half years have been kinder to us.
