p.1 #1 · Nepal- dressed for the weather?

#1- I don't think so. At 5,000 feet elevation, Kathmandu was cold in early winter.
The man was just standing there as foot traffic (few cars on this shopping street) walked around him. I seemed to be the only one to take notice.
#2- Another man further down.
Sociological interpretations....?
Scanned from old prints.
Tomorrow I'll begin posting "normal" scenes of Nepal- still exotic to me, but more representative of what was typical in Kathmandu in the early 1970s.

Great gritty street shots Charlie. The guy in #1 looks pretty badass, and I am curious of the tilting in shot #2 (a soulful image of this man)?

Thanks, Eric.
About the tilt- same reason as my first Nepal post; I held the camera low and, unfortunately, off-axis about 10 degrees. I wanted to straighten it without cropping out the little bits and pieces that help establish the setting.
Don't worry- I'm still the same stick-in-the-mud traditionalist .
