Wonderful series on these gulls Larry. Sharp and good eye contact accompanied by nice poses and good light! Very well balanced light tones and a nice snap of contrast too.
these are sweet, and the light is really nice. Though common, they are beautiful too, and practicing on them keeps you in panning-shape for other, rarer birds.. Nice job. --Lars

I am pleased and I enjoyed all of them

Hey Karl,
You were 1st up! Thank you kindly, as always, I value your opinion. Thank you for the nice comments.
# 1 - is a tad too centered, you could have cropped it closer to the right side I think...
# 2 - is fine, though you could have done the same - - not say you should, just that you could...
# 3 - Love It.
# 4 & 5 - Nice pano crop
# 6 - nicely done.
Lil
Lil,
Thanks for dropping in to view and comment on my photos. As with Karl, I also value your insight and help by giving me your helpful thoughts. In the future, I will keep in mind giving these birds more room to fly into. I think that #3 is a bit different and like it a lot as well.

Hi Lars,
Thank you and yep, practice helps! I'm trying to tune-up my skills to get ready for the return of the baldies this winter.
Although we often use the gulls for practice they are great subjects in their own right Larry.
A very nice set and my main suggestion would be to give them more room to fly into, and give them a good bit of room too and you will see a big difference

Larry you are pushing that 5d to the max with your IF's. So well done, they are beauties. I love my 5d and the images it produces, I never use it for IF anymore. After looking yours maybe I should Love the set
