I already own 2 x Nikon 200-400's, and the Canon 400 2.8 IS. I don't think I've used the Canon since buying the Nikkor 200-400's

The Nikon 200-400 is without rival at the moment as far as a money making field sports lens, I'd happily by the Canon version if they made one and it was as good

A 16-35 f/2.8L III that fixes the corner performance of the mk II to be competitive with the Nikon 14-24 would be of much more interest to me.

200-400/4 for $6299?!? No thanks. I already have 100-400L so I'd rather spend that money on the 500L.

I also have no interest in fast wide angle zoom. The TSE17 is more than enough for my landscape/wide angle needs.
