This morning I went to that location in the Mid-Atlantic region that I won't mention out of deference to some FM members. Although I've had my 7D for a couple of weeks, today was my first opportunity for BIF. Although still acclimating myself to the multitude of features and AF capabilities, I am very pleased with this camera.
You should be pleased...this is one outstanding juvi Baldie in-flight. If the weather cooperates I will be at this secret location in the Mid-Atlantic region next weekend.

The weather there today was simply fabulous...I do hope it holds up for you.
Great Eagle BIF shot Chris, looks like your going to have a lot of fun with your new camera. You know with some cropping and PP I think that second shot could become a knock your socks off photo. There is some really interesting lighting and tones surrounding the eagles.
Unfortunately I took that shot before I set everything up exactly the way I like it... it's already been through a fair amount of PP just to get it to here
This was taken shortly after the sun came up. It's not a great shot but it'll give you a taste of what to expect...
I was supposed to be there last Friday and Saturday but work got in the way...I really didn't want to view an images captured this weekend because of what I missed out on ....but I know they will be there for a while. I'm glad the weekend weather was great...I hope it's the same next weekend.
