Not a crack on RD jr., but I've known rich people to hand someone a credit card before to go buy a new tv when all that needed replaced was the batteries in the remote.
Do you think Spike or Clowney jr. really went shopping for a 5DII? They pay people to make those decisions and purchases.
What lens was Spike shooting, and do you have a photo of it? It would be interesting to see if Spike is in accordance with the NBA rules for fans, pertaining to staying within th 3" maximum length of a lens for attendants.
Spike Lee is a Chinese American kick-boxer and stunt double in martial arts movies. He also owns a chain of Chinese fast food joints in southern cal. Sorta the Papa John's of Americanized Chinese cuisine.
Yes, it is a 5D2, because it clearly lacks a pop-up flash, and yet it does not have an integrated grip as in the 1D-series.
The lens also appears to be an EF 85/1.8 USM, since the aperture and front element is very wide, yet there is no red ring to indicate L series, and the lens is not long. It could be the EF 100/2 but I doubt it.
Apparently the 5D2 is a very popular camera among celebrities... Who knew they could do more than just pose in front of the camera? I suppose if you spend enough time having your picture taken, eventually you're going to want to see things from the other end.

That sounds like an answer Downey jr would give if asked who Spike Lee is.

Game 6 would be baseball!
MLB are not the lens police like the NBA
I have photos.
I'd have to look more closely maybe something like a 24-70L?? when he was shooting the players standing right below him in teh dugout postgame, but i'd need to look more closely (and yeah he did use the hood and all, help cut down stadium lighting glare)
that was the little tiny nugget of trivia
i wouldn't be surprised at all if Spike Lee picked it out himself.
As for the rich in general, yeah some toss it around in ridiculous ways but many, many more are not ridiculous about it like getting a new TV because the remote's batteries die hah.
This thread has gotten really strange, fast. I feel like we just played the photography version of 6 degrees, but butchered it somehow.
haha
so who has the bigger emu farming operation Spike Lee or Ashton Kutcher? Man, I wonder if a frickin' EMU is ever gonna punk ASHTON KUTCHER's ASS!! I mean really isn't it about time!!!?
