I find numbers one and three to be pleasant but uninspiring and rather common. Number two is inspiring and is uncommon. Photography often works best when creative limits are explored a bit... when rigid rules are broken. Number two does this. It works. I like it.

There is no reason to apologize for not liking a photo. We react the way we do and you were honest and I appreciate that. As you can see the second photo produces strong reactions in both directions and this is one of the things that makes our art so interesting.

Yes, I agree. That second shot is absolutely incredible. A clear contest winner. It just has it all. I might as well sell my gear--the bar just got raised to high!
