I suspect that he means that Photoshop will work just fine with a low end video card as long as it supports Open GL. If you want a higher end video card for gaming, well that's a different story.

Thanks. I'm glad I didn't waste my money.....and create unnecessary heat to contribute to global warming. There were reasons for "maximizing" everything and you hit on it.
CS2. I am having a new PC built as I speak with Windows 7 OS. Now the question: I purchased and still have the original installation discs, etc., for Photoshop CS2.
I am running CS2 on Windows 7 64 bit and have not had any trouble. (Still anticipate seeing major speedup when CS5 meets my 12GB of RAM).

I now have the new PC and CS3 is up and running with no problems. I am however having minor glitches with the NIK plugins. Interesting stuff....will get with NIK support.
