p.1 #1 · Modeling C & C

Hi All,

I did a series of model shots in Paris, and since it was my first series of model shots I was wondering if anyone had any comments or criticism. I'd appreciate any advice you could send my way!

I also like 2.

Did you do some cloning on the wall to the left of the model in 3?

Austerine on second look at these images it is immediately apparent
that #3 and #4 have lighting issues. #2 also may have similar issues
on 3 places: nose, face, chest. Highlights blown.

These problems will prove problematic at the print level.

#1 the left dark area is and some lost of detail on the clothing also
are indicative of light reading issues.

Hope this helps in identifying and resolve issues in the future.

austerine,

Certainly not my field of expertise but in general they appear soft to me.

Might want to run them by the People forum for comment - lots of talent and expertise there.

regards,

Bob

Hi

Thanks for all your comments, the lighting issues may have come from post-processing, and the # 3 shot was indoors with limited light. I appreciate the criticism though, that's definitely something I need to take more in consideration.
I may run these into the people forum to get some more advice, I'm scheduled to do a shoot soon and I'd like to get a few tips before I do that.

Thanks again!

I'd suggest more care to retain some detail in highlights and generally make the images sharper.
