The 5D is a sweet camera.

The reason dust is "more" of a problem with that camera than like a 30D or something is simple physics. There's more sensor space to collect dust.

That said, I have done a wet cleaned my sensor a few times, and I did it to see if I could do a better job than Canon.

I blow out the camera all of the time now, but I try not to change lenses (my 5D basically has the 70-200 2.8IS living on it. I want to get a 135L to put on it, and it will pretty much live there forever).

Dust isn't really so much of a problem on the sensor. It's the viewfinder that's a pain in the butt, but you get used to it quick. The files from the 5D are sexy.

I recently sold my 40D. I intended on keeping my 5d, 7d, and 40d. However the 7d was so much better that I sold the 40D. I'll probably look at another 5D for down the line.

The 5D is a stud.

I just Don't like the idea of mucking around with the low pass filter, I have dreams...
or should I say nightmares of scratching it and having to send it in to be fixed.

Which brings me to my desire for a 3D.
15-20Mp
Amazing low light performance,
very low high iso noise,
zero(or next to it) low iso noise,
weather proofed,
7D AF.

what the 5DII should have been.
Is that so hard to make?

I bought a 5D the first week it was out - at full price - and I have felt good ever since. I can't imagine how good you would have to feel to buy a 5D at today's prices!!!
