I hope this is the right forum. My first upload. I'm not a professional, as you can see. This is a picture I've restored. Early 1800's charcoal/ink sketch, not really a photograph. What do you think, am I on the right track?
Thanks.
Thanks for all the nice comments. If you'd like to see more of what I do, I have a website at http://rememberingwhenphotorepair.com
I've been doing the photo restoration for about 10 years as a hobby and just recently decided to open a small business. I'm retired and don't have to depend on making money from it (a good thing); just keeps me busy.
Thanks again!
Beautiful job! The only thing you might consider is brightening the left eye of the gentlement just a teeny bit, it kinda looks like the missus smacked him
This is cool. You know, I forget about some of the interesting things you can do with PS. I need to revisit the old family photos and see if there aren't some that would be fun to work on. Thanks for the inspiration!
Very nice!! I've done a small amount of this before. Enough to know that those took ALOT of work to repair! Only one little thing that stands out to me. The eyes almost seem to have too much color. They seem to stand out too much to me. But still very nice! Great job!
