Sleeping leopard at the San Antonio Zoo. Was a good day for a nap yesterday, overcast with occasional sprinkles of rain. All the big cats were napping.
Thanks, Endre. Such beautiful creatures, I hate seeing him in the zoo really. Yep, this is either the 3rd or 4th time we've had "Framed" as a theme, eh?
Wonderful shot Beverly...you're always a strong contender. Love the pp. Having traveled in Africa, I too find it hard to see them in zoos, but most are alive because they are in zoos. A sad dilemma...

Thanks! Actually there's no monochrome conversion at all. The rock was this color naturally. I loved how he blended into his habitat.
Wow! I also thought you had desaturated or otherwise played with the colour. The subtle shades alone make it interesting.
gorgeous photo, some may find it difficult to see the frame in this, but that would be a shame because for those rocks and branches to be perfectly aligned while the beautiful cheetah or leopard was sleeping with in the natural frame made this a great shot.
