I like it as is, but being slightly ajar might be good too. I find the slight perspective distortion a little distracting, but it's probably just me.

Tried that and the light was to bright for me, over powered the frame.

The sun was right on the doorway, open ajar was just to much light from one side.
If I did hdr I guess that might have been a option, I appreciate the feedback.
