This is my mother, whose advanced Alzheimer's disease has robbed her of almost all motor control, not to mention cognitive ability. She spends her days confined to this wheelchair.

I like the bright and barely distinguishable neighborhood scene contrasting with the darkness of life's sunset.

A very powerful and compelling image and message. It makes pixels seem unimportant. Thanks for that.
