lol, thanks for being the first to have the guts to admit it.
It seems it's definately a British thing........ although apparently it does get exported to the States. Seems that a lot of you are luckily enough not to have found it though (IMHO).
Anyway to answer your question:
It's a weird tasting spread, most people put it on toast, although I have seen some rather bizarre uses for it. The point is, the advertising slogan is , "you either love it or hate it" (and it's put well into practice with TV ads of people shown loving it or hating it).
Strangely enough about 50% of the population love it, the rest hate it. So there you have it, an opposite opinion/ taste.
Best avoid if you see it around, but then I'd guarantee someone in your family would like it.
This jar is going to my other half after I have finished with it. Although she can sleep on the sofa if she has any of this before going to bed.
I'm back off to the drawing board..... but might swop that fork for a knife in the interim....
