Not much used, but now there's another use.

Deceptive simplicity. The composition is spot on. The B&W also works well. Kudos.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

I obviously need to shoot my ideas on Wednesdays, while not really the same, I was exploring ideas with a saw blade...

Nicely done, good comp, and good luck this week.

Depending how you look at it the cut is facing the wrong direction, just to me would of been better with it facing the other way.

Norm, I think in Australia the blades run the other way, just like the water in toilets?

Anyway, regarding the photo. It is well done and well cropped. Regardless of the direction the blades face.

First off, thanks to all who stopped by to have a say about the image.

Norm, perhaps it's something to do with our natural tendency to view left > right as in reading, or perhaps it's a right/left handed thing. I did flip it but it still looked just as good to me.

Chad, we have back to front saws for our blades as well.

Cheers. Bill

I like the presentation Bill. Mine all get used daily at the shop. Shooting one did cross my mind. Glad the idea didn't go to waste. Well done!

I think it works well either way, just had to throw that in.

I like this. Backwards, schmackwards. It's good.

Well done lighting the metal.

It makes us look at what's to come. I can picture the wood on the right side out of frame.

Very hard, glinty, metallic lighting! I like it.

Good Entry Bill. None of my blades are that clean, but a clean blade shows the glint of light off the carbide really well.
