Those are some great shots Peter. I can't offer up any street work from my 35L as I've not been out with it yet this season. But I hope you forgive me if I post a few from last year done with the 40D and 24L during a visit to Geneva.
This combo provides a very similar FoV to 35mm on FF, and with the live view/silent mode of the 40D is a fairly discrete package:

I thought we were supposed to shoot the street. But that got pretty boring, even with the 35L. Perhaps the 85 would have been a little more exciting.
And now we find out that we can't trust Peter to "Not Install Pigins" in any thread, even if he promises not to. And I always assumed Canadians were straight up guys.
John, what am I supposed to do Pijuns are my signature shot.
With every lens.
BTW, nice country road.
So is that Chevy muscle car replica and relic.
BTW, I am surprised to see that there is a stop sign in your town.
Can't resist sharing a couple of shots taken with the 35L on the day the Great Race of 2006 came to an end in San Rafael, California, not far from where I live. Needless to say, I enjoy playing with bokeh.

Wait a minute.....pijuns are really a kind of city dwellers. Thus, pictures of pijuns could pass for city street photography.
Here you go, 35L (on 40D) does PIF.
If that's a street, you have some serious flooding going on!
