Sweet ride and nice shots! I'd almost like to see some of them in HDR though, to make the car pop a bit more against the white background. Still, nice shots as is.

The first three are the best. Love the contrast and colour.

I don't do HDR outright (i feel it's a cheap, easily indentified, overused/trendy effect on the internet at this point), although there is some exposure control to keep sand texture but also support the car.

I hope you didn't think I was implying that there was a problem with any of your pics. I thought they were great. You done an excellent job on exposure, I just happen to like some of the more realistic HDR work for some photos. I wasn't referring to the surrealistic, overcooked HDR at all for these pics. It would ruin them.

Thank you :-) I agree, I like the concept of HDR but dislike it in practical application. It seems that, with so many controls available, few people can control themselves. For me HDR is the scourge of modern photography, easily the most misused and abused in "filter" form.

For these photos, I didn't like the idea of it because HDR diminishes contrast -- my idea behind these photos. In a lot of my other work you can see HDR or the idea of it, although I prefer to matte paint so it remains effective rather than tacky.
