I really liked this beach. It was easy to get to and very little hiking...lol
I had been looking at Tim and Rays photos of this place for a while and was trying to get a sense of how beautiful the place is.
Pictures do come close to doing it justice, but it's best to go see the beach yourself if you get the chance.
I really wished I lived closer. It's a log trip from Texas to get there.
Nice work here. Although the clouds are not lit with color, it's cool in both shots that the sky surrounding the clouds has a colored tint. Very nicely done, very sharp. Yes, it's a long way from Texas, but definately it was worth the drive or flight to get there.
A gorgeous pair you have captured here at Ruby, just fantastic colors lighting and sky very nice work. BTW I checked out your website very cool you are a very talented person, Looking forward to more of your Olypen visit.
Well done Keith. I especially like the first perspective. I have a good idea where this one is, but will take a scouting trip next time there. A fine perspective, and I'm very sure you got your feet wet on that one.

Tim, I did indeed get pretty wet at Ruby. Waded into the surf a few times to climb on some rocks.
Also, it's looking like the fall trip will be the Oregon coast and then some part of Olympic again.
End of Sept to the begining of October.
Will have to meet up again and get with Ray on this trip.
Would like to either do Shi Shi again or Giants Graveyard down from Third Beach.
These are both great shots but I think I would choose #1 for those wonderful clouds and the long exposure of the water, although I love the golden reflection in the second shot.
It's a longer trip from Arkansas!!!
Been there once, can't wait to return.
Good shots, Keith. You got 'em at higher tide than we saw in Aug, 07. Love the soft, late light and wonderful skies, and I really like your choice of SS for the water.
