Good idea, good execution. I have to disagree with the prior post re: horizon. Keeping the bench rather than street horizontal has effectively re-focused the viewer's attention. Graphically, the lines and deep depth of field creates a nice dynamic that pulls the viewer in as well - which is the whole point.
