I am field testing the EOS 1D XVIII and I have received all of these ERR messages and a few I cannot tell you about that deal with focus issues......ooops.
Although it is a personal policy of mine not to adopt newly introduced error codes, until they have been thoroughly been tested by the pixel peeper community.
Err69 - Camera is unable to take photo of lewd sex act.
Err100 - Err99 not currently available
Err1 - Camera is broken
Err2 - Camera is broken but in a way that differs from Err1
Err3 - Camera is fine, but photographer is an idiot
Err4 - Camera is fine, photographer is fine, but subject is an idiot
Err5 - Nothing is wrong. There is no error

I must confess I have been field testing these error messages for the last month ... Canon may fire me for this, but I'm coming clean: there's a problem with them. They don't work properly in One Shot, especially on stationary subjects that have two eyes and long hair. RG is working on a full review ...
Now it's gonna be worthless... I need to "upgrade" now... Always need to get the latest and the greatest...
