Oh, and did you get any shots of it AFTER the egrets neck snapped? After that much strain I have to believe he at least needed a foam collar for a few weeks.

Thank you for the flattering comment. I'm pretty happy with the shot. I intend to submit it to a few wildlife contests or even some birding magazines. At least it's an opportunity to share a special capture with others who will appreciate it.

Hey cputeq,
Lots of people seem to diss the Nikon brand. To me, both Nikon and Canon make good cameras and lenses. It is up to the photographers to get the most out of what they've got.
