It is a RF lens and can´t be adapted to DSLR's. Some were converted to Leica-M if I recall correctly. Get one and an M8...

Trust me. If it was possible to use on my 5D I would have bought me one a long time ago...

it is pretty bright, mind you the title of this post should read Canon 50mm f/.95

it didn't optically do well, meaning it was a real dog and got better stopped down, but for the time, it was incredible. Can't hold a candle to the leica 1.0 or the canon 1.0L though.

theoretically it is usable, but trust me, I had one hacked, years ago for a m series, and on my m6 it didn't impress me at all. It looked much like any uncoated, hazy, low contrast soft-below-3.5 lens

Seriously though, it had far far far more problems than benefits. If you want something bright and simple, buy my olympus 55 1.2 with a canon adapter, it fits right on, focuses to infinity, and is INCREDIBLE down to f 2.0, and doesn't look nearly as bad as the .95 when wide open. Besides this would save you 800+ dollars!

Yes, but you still need the lens to be modified first, then mount it on the G1 using the M to m43 adapter.
