Does anyone have experience with this online store? I could not find any of its online rating. I found the D300 is priced at $1209. Hope someone can share experience. Thanks
Never heard of fumfie before..... Personally, I'd not want to make a big purchase there without having a lot more info on them.
FWIW, the best prices I've seen from reputable dealers are on Cameta Camera's ebay auction store. They had some refurbs and factory demo d300s there last week for around $1k and they usually have some very nice "kits" on new bodies as well. I've bought a couple cameras and lenses from them, no problems.
After looking up the location of the store, as listed on their web site, on googlemaps, I wouldn't feel comfortable buying anything through them, either, check it out with the Street View option.

Well that certainly is troubling... that said I have found google earth/maps at least to miss addresses by a little bit so that might not actually be the spot.... but still....

If it was a real retail store as they said, why wouldn't they list an address on the site? I went through the whole thing without seeing a single one.
They claim their store has been open since 1994 and this website online since 2001. Unfortunately for them, the records show that the domain was created in 2008!
Oh, not to mention you have to pay $50 for a "2 hour battery" or $100 for a "4 hour battery."
That's funny, my D300 can go several weeks on a single charge!
I particularly like their flash recommendation for the D300.
"Zeikos Digital Camera Flash, work with all digital & SLR cameras. $59.99" Yep, that's what I'd want for my portrait work allright.
Wow the scam meter for me just broke. I can't believe how fake that site is. Please spend alittle bit more and buy somewhere known with an actual storefront.
