Simon and Hauxon among others have had me lusting for one for a very long time now. Last night I finally won one. A mint copy with the hard case. Yay!

Please post your work so I have something to look at while waiting for the lens to arrive!

I know I will like it. If I don´t like the photos I can just sit and look at it...

The price was reasonable I think. They don´t come out for sale very often here in Sweden.

I really like the 21/3.5 so I think this will be another great one from my favourite lens maker...

Thanks. I am a little embarassed by the train pic, though. It is a good candidate for a little HDR with the stupid highlight.

That's great, Anden. I've had my eye on one for a while as well...I'm just finding it difficult to fork over a collector's price. My only hope is to troll the local Craigslist or look for a very unsuspecting little old lady that's holding a garage sale.

Thanks overdal. Do you know if you need the original 49/72 adapter ring to use filters? or can you use any step up rings?

It certainly looks like any step up ring, so I would assume you could. If you get one without the adapter put a few dollars in a stepup ring and test it out.

A good price is anything under $900.

I think I got a very good price then. Sold my good but boring Canon 17-40L today. Got more for it than I paid for the Oly...

Now the 21/3.5 has to go. Can not afford to have the Oly 18, Oly 21 and the Rokkor 24 VFC...

Congrats, Anden, you've just scored a lens that's at or near the top of a lot of acquisition lists (including mine). I hope the price you paid marks a turn - I'm with Mike G on not wanting to fork out collector price.

There was one for sale in the UK not long ago for about $650, I passed on it (probably should have snagged it) but that's the cheapest I have seen lately.
