I really don't think a few apples is going to hurt... Until your wife want to be able to have flowers in the garden during the summer.
Mother lost all her tulips every spring from them visiting.... And we did not bait them...
Love the second shot & I guess one could say I bait my backyard birds & the squirrels. But then, they came over here before I started putting things out. Our tree has some kind of berry on it which they eat....
But maybe that translates into baiting the juvenile Cooper's Hawk
Don't feel bad Ed, we just got back from Banff and Lake Louise. And we saw.....NOTHING!!! Well, very little anyhow. We did see some elk off the highway but there was no way to stop. And conditions were less than ideal until the other morning - and we were on our way out of the park. Arghhhh. At least I got a few landscape shots.
I've ordered nice weather for this coming weekend so let's plan SOMETHING.
