Please edit and number these to allow easy reference to them.
What a wonderful capture of colours and charactors. Well done.
#1 has an unusual look, and that makes it attractive and interesting. Consider cropping to show only one lady.
Again the colour and charactors you show really make this series.

Great job on #6
Wonderful light and colors but don't care for the chopped off heads in many of the others.

Some very good shots here and at pbase. Love the connection between the people looking into the camera and the photographer! Was pleasantly surprised to find you were able to photograph the Baha'i House of Worship outside of New Delhi. Were you able to take any shots of the interior?

+1. A vertical crop of the woman on the left would be stunning. (although the two together also makes a nice pic, in a different way)

-But these are all wonderful. Incredible colors & contrast. Great expressions. Just really fine.

BTW- I'm looking at your profile, and can't believe these were done with a 40D and a 24-105. ( ! )
I would have guessed 5D & an 85L. -so much for needing expensive gear.

Thanks, I enjoyed seeing these.

i was thinking that the bokeh is really harsh, not pleasing...i was guessing the 50 f/1.8

no surprise that it wasn't done with an "L" prime...

nice documentary photos nonetheless

I added numbers to the photos Jim.
Thanks for your comment. I tried cropping only the woman on the left, but I just liked the photo containing both women. The way the woman on the right looks the other way is pleasant to my eye.

Chopped of heads?
They certainly weren't chopped of when I saw these people.

Thanks for taking a look at the gallery Michael.
It is no problem at all to do photography at the House of Worship, it wasn't even a problem to make shots of the interior. Only I didn't like the interior that much, it was very simple inside. I liked the exterior much better.

Thanks for your comments Jim!
Wow a 5D and a 85L, I don't own expensive gear like that (unfortunately). These were indeed done with the 40D, Canon 24-105 and Canon 70-200F4IS. When you click on the links the exif data is posted below each photo.

Thanks again!

These were done with the 24-105 and 70-200F4IS. No "L" prime was used.
Thanks for looking Greg.

My point, but they were "captured" that way!

Very Nice Photos! I am heading to India and Nepal on Monday. I will be in the Northeast. I was wondering, did you bring your monopod and if so were you able to use it? I have heard that India is not a place to bring a tripod or monopod as they will not let you use them at many of the monuments.
