p.1 #1 · Panormaic Mounting / Framing

I have a very long panoramic that I'm interested in printing & framing. I don't think the standard 'mat and frame' is going to work for me though, as the printed image will be 8 inches x 8 feet. I'm looking for suggestions on how to finish it off; laminating, dry mounting, ...? Is it possible to mat a print this size or would you print it with a border; maybe with a bevel for a faux mat look?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Rod

Ask the framer who is going to frame it. They should have an idea of what will work best AND if they can do it or not.

I guess maybe this is the wrong forum/board for this question.

No ideas from anyone? Anyone have one done that they liked, didn't like? Floatmounting looks like it might be the way to go.
